Maison Martin-Matte of Beloeil
Studios Source Bel-Vie offers much more than just a place to live — it serves as a springboard toward an active, autonomous, and fulfilling life for individuals living with a traumatic brain injury, stroke, or other acquired brain injury.
Located in Beloeil, Montérégie, the residence welcomes independent adults or those with a slight loss of autonomy into an adapted, respectful, and stimulating environment. Through an individualized approach, residents are supported in developing their full potential, with a central focus on functional autonomy and social reintegration.
The residence includes 21 modern, adapted studios — 19 reserved for individuals from the region, and 2 designated for the CISSS de la Montérégie-Ouest (CRDP). These two units provide transitional housing with support services for adults with physical disabilities who are continuing their rehabilitation. This initiative is made possible through the AccèsLogis program of the Société d’habitation du Québec (SHQ), which also includes rent supplements to improve financial accessibility for low-income individuals.
Each resident benefits from flexible, tailored support based on their needs: assistance with daily living, recreational activities, help with personal management, and programs that promote independence. The team encourages active resident participation according to each individual’s abilities, in a way that respects their pace and personal goals.
